תחרות פרויקט השנה

מרכז קהילתי, באר מילכה

המרכז הקהילתי הממוקם ביישוב הסמוך לגבול ישראל/מצרים נועד לשמש מספר יישובים

בפיתחת ניצנה. הפרויקט כולל אולם התכנסות, כיתות לחוגים, משרדים, ספרייה, חללי עבודה

מ"ר, ומרחב פתוח לאירועים והופעות. ההצעה מבטאת את הזהות

המקומית, באמצעות ארבעה מבנים, תוך התייחסות לאקלים המדברי: העמדת המבנים יוצרת

חללי ביניים מוצללים ומוגנים, הממשיכים את צירי התנועה ביישוב המתהווה. האוריינטציה

נועדה למנוע חדירת סופות חול, תוך הזרמה מבוקרת של בריזה נעימה אל הרחבה המרכזית

שמשמשת מבואה לפונקציות השונות. בריכות הנוי במרחב הציבורי משמשות גם לצינון.

Community Center, Be’er Milka

Located near the Israel/Egypt border, the

community building is planned to serve several

neighboring settlements in the area of Nizzana.

The programme dictated a hall, multi-purpose

classrooms, offices, a library, with an open space

for events and performances.

Expressing the unique local identity of the growing

settlement, the plan is based on a complex of four

buildings adapted to the desert climate, forming

intermediate, shaded and protected public

spaces.

Calculated orientation according to the

settlement’s main axes, while protecting it from

sand storms, enables the controlled penetration

of a pleasant breeze into the main square, where

ornamental ponds cool the air.
