Museum Campus, Kahana Park, Ramat Gan

Located on Abba Hillel cnr. Rokach Rd., the new park is a first
phase in the formation of the new Museum Complex, which
includes the Ramat Gan Museum of Art, the rehabilitated
ceramics museum of Beit Kahana, Atelier Koso Elul, and Beit
Ganim.
The idea is to establish an unfenced cultural complex connected
to open space – the main road to the south, and the Yarkon
River bank to the north. For this, the corner facing Abba Hillel
Road was opened up with a sculpted topography that bridges
the height differences, at the center of which is a huge old
Jacaranda tree.
Combining an area of creative activity and leisure in the spirit
of art, the project is characterized by a new, colorful, urban
language that later on will find expression in other art complexes
in the city.
Shaded red benches around a huge ficus tree emphasize the
ecological significance of the project to become an integral part
of the Jonathan Trail along the Yarkon River bank.

גיבעה פיסולית סביב עץ סיגלון בוגר מגשרת על הפרשי
הגבהים. השפה הצבעונית תבוא לידי ביטוי גם במתחמי
אומנות נוספים בעיר.
