Light sculpture, Modi'in, 2018
Located in a square at the new commercial
avenue in Park Ayalon, between the
municipality building and the mall, the
sculpture is made of a series of repetitive
steel elements. Painted in varying colors
on each side, the visual effect changes
according to the observer’s point of view,
creating a wave-like motion. The beckoning
attraction encourages gathering and random
interaction between residents and visitors.
At dark, the dynamic is dramatically
enhanced by colorful lighting that produces
an interesting play of light and shadow.
