Established 25 years ago, Delugan Meissl Associated Architects has planned numerous

projects, prominent among which are the Sandoz Global Headquarters of the Novartis

Company (2003); Ray1, the well publicized rooftop house near the Vienna city center;

and the City Lofts and High Rise in the Wienerberg district. DMAA has participated in

international competitions and exhibitions, among them their contribution to the 2006

Architecture Biennale in Venice, and the first Biennale for Architecture in Bejing - with their

Apartment in Phoenix City, which attracted considerable international attention.

Further national and international achievements include social housing and cultural

projects, such as the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart (completed in 2008); The EYE Film

Institute Netherlands (opened in 2011); and the Festival Hall in Erl, (completed in 2012);

the University of Applied Sciences in Vienna (completed in 2009); the refurbishment of the

Tourist Info on Albertina St., Vienna (opened in 2014); and the Geriatric Centre Donaustadt

(completed in 2014).

In 2015, DMAA won the competition for the refurbishment of Badisches Staatstheater in

Karlsruhe as well as the competition for the new Campus Tower in Hafen, Hamburg. In

2016, the shopping centre ELI in Liezen, Austria, was opened; in 2017 the Karl Landsteiner

University in Krems, Austria; the Hyundai Motorstudio Goyang in Seoul, Korea; and the

Miba-Forum in Laakirchen, Austria.

All their projects exhibit a clear visible geometry based on a functional programme, relating

to the socio-spatial context in which they were built.
