Taiyuan Botanical Gardens
An architectural concept of the Botanical Gardens, with a visitors’ and administration center, a
research center, hothouse and Bonsai Museum - is based on the formation of a balanced and
vibrant artificial landscape that includes wild plants, hills, a lake and waterfalls. The visiting
route starts at the entrance building, which suggests the landscape, and includes a lobby
space, reception desk, an observation platform above the lake, which stretches right up to a
park with three domes that house tropical desert plants.
