HoG Studio - expansion of
the Franciscan Monastery,
World Cultural Heritage
Center, Graz, 2012
Preserving the old wooden roof structure,
the former attic has become a spacious
work area, including a leisure area,
toilets, kitchen and storage. The entire
new infrastructure is integrated in a
1m-wide freestanding wall that separates
different areas. The special energy
system of the Monastery was extended
and adapted to cool the place in summer
as well.

קונסטרוקציית העץ של גג המנזר הפכה
לחלל עבודה מרווח באמצעות מחיצה
בגובה מטר המפרידה בין אזורי העבודה,
הבילוי, המטבח והשירותים. מערכת החימום
המיושנת של המנזר שוכללה כדי לשמש גם
לקירור, בחודשי הקיץ.
