Broken Mirror House,

Located in the UNESCO world-heritage,
listed historical center of Graz, the residential
building relates to 19th century neighboring
buildings through a contemporary screen
wall. This creates a dynamic, three-
dimensional projection of the surroundings.
Completing the continuum of the street, the
glass and stainless steel screen reflect the
representative neo-Renaissance façades,
which appear refracted and distorted as in a
kaleidoscope.

אונסקו כאתר למורשת עולמית, מתייחס בשפתו

העכשווית אל סביבת המגורים מן המאה ה
באמצעות קיר מסך המשקף בהשפעת משחקי
האור מבע דינמי מתעתע, המערב בין שקוף,
משקיף ונשקף. הקיר העשוי מפנלי זכוכית
ונירוסטה ממורקת, משלים את רצף הבתים ברחוב
כשמאחוריו מוסתרת החצר הקידמית.
