Accessible on foot only, the resort house
delimits the boundary of an historic town and
was designed accordingly as a “boundary
wall". The terraced structure according to the
topography enabled the addition of a lower
level without harming the historical qualities of
the house. In this framework, the main design
component was the openings, calculated
according to the surrounding vista, thus
enhancing the natural light effect that changed
during the day and seasons.
