BIG Office, the Dambo Artists Neighborhood, Brooklyn, New York
The office of the Danish architect Bjarke Ingels, one of the world's leading
archi-stars, moved to New York after winning the second phase design of the
World Trade Center in Manhattan. Located in the penthouse purchased by
Ingels, the office serves about 250 architects, spearheaded by Amir Mikhaeil,
Maki Matsubayashi, Florencia Kratsman, and Francesca Portesine. The office,
designed and built over a period of six months, includes an open work space,
a modeling studio, meeting rooms, a library, pampering leisure areas, a ping-
pong room, a skateboard room, and designer bathrooms.
