Château La Coste Gallery, Provence,
France
Built in the heart of Château La Coste
vineyard, the building serves as an art gallery
and wine storage. In order to avoid harming
the flat topography of the vineyard, the 285
sq.m. concrete building was constructed in
a six meter deep trench, above which is a
floating roof, its waves reflecting the rows
of the vines.

Bolt information ONLY
Starting at the entrance pavilion, the visitors’
route leads down a slight slope to a 160 sq.m
gallery, flooded with filtered light through a
glazed façade that opens onto a courtyard of
sculptures, while the wine barrels provide the
atmosphere of a winery.
