Astrup Fearnley Museum of
Contemporary Art
Located in a former shipyard near the Aker
Brygge area of the city of Tjuvholmen,
the structure made of three timber-clad
buildings, overlooks the Oslo Fjord.
A sculpture garden is covered by a floating,
UV protected glass roof.
Using natural building materials, the project
exemplifies Piano's ability to make the best
of environmental features.
