Closing: 30/11/19.

Curator: Dr. Aviv Agam-Dali.

Focusing on displacement, migration and re-

absorption, the exhibition “Security Blankets”

at the Periscope Gallery, Tel Aviv, presents

large paper artworks by Dutch artist, Bianca

Severijns, who lives and works in Israel.

Closing: 15/11/19.

projects

Designed by Zaha Hadid in collaboration with

ADP Ingeniérie after winning an international

competition in 2011, the new Beijing airport

has been inaugurated. Although Hadid

herself did not live to see some of the

posts comparing the impressive structure

to a vagina, she has proved again that

architecture is a profession that leaves one

on the map many years after death, and that

is a comfort. Planned to alleviate the existing

airport’s traffic pressure, the new airport

is expected to become one of the most

congested in the world, serving altogether

approximately 170 million passengers a year.

students

Final projects by students from the Ariel

School of Architecture dealt with the subject of

a dwelling according to their choice, provided

it holds a critical point of view. Doron Anhang

designed student dorms as an “architectural

laboratory for community living in a world

saturated with information, which intensifies

the issue of loneliness”.

Supervisor: Architect Daniel Azrad.

Other projects at the Ariel School of

Architecture concentrated on human

diversity on Jaffa St., combining the old and

the new at the entrance to the city, installing

a train in the Old City of Jerusalem, historical

affiliation in Har Homa, and the problematic

public passage connecting Pisgat Ze’ev and

Sho’afat.

That's it for this quarter, please write.
