הסירה מהווה חלק אינטגרלי של הבנייה, וככזאת היא
מכילה מרכיבים פונקציונליים וקישוטיים כאחד.
המנוע מורכב על מוט הרחקה המאפשר
למעלה:
לסירה להתקרב אל החוף.
החרטום המוגבה עשוי מראש מתכת כדי
למטה:
לעמוד בלחץ הגלים, בעוד שהקישוטים המדמים
צעיפים משמשים להקניית מימד אישי, תוך ביטוי
אמונות תפלות המאפיינות את יורדי הים.

בהדרגה את עמודי העץ, בעיקר בבנייה היבשתית
ובשכבות המבוססות יותר.

to withstand the pressure of the waves, while
the ornaments on it depict scarves, used to
impart a personal dimension, also expressing
superstitions characterizing seafarers.

Concrete pillars gradually replace
the wooden columns, especially among the
better off inhabitants.

Dinner on a porch ventilated from all
directions, including the wooden floor that lets
in cool wind from beneath.
