With 30,000 seats at this point, the stadium is conceived as a seamless continuation of the surrounding forested landscape, while its soft, sloping form echoes the nearby mountain ridges, inviting visitors to explore the site the whole year through. Covered by a monumental steel roof supported by only nine 95-meter high pillars, the canopy appears from a distance as a halo hovering above the site.
