Envisioned as a new model for a more humane, equal, and vibrant living environment, the design serves welfare recipients and young professionals, integrating the community into the city through a layout of six blocks connected by a central avenue. The site is broken into smaller, human-scale segments shaped by Y-shaped, staggered buildings that form a mountain-like topography while optimizing light and ventilation. While the ground level opens the site to a wider urban audience, the second level, accessible only to residents, offers a shared outdoor landscape. A pedestrian circuit weaves around all six blocks, forming an elevated park with amenities including a gym, community gardens, badminton court, children’s playground, ecological sanctuary and communal services. Over 80 percent of the construction was prefabricated with insulated ultra-low energy units.
