No longer are they stern, rectangular structures, rather, expressions of thinking out-of-the-box. In this respect, the new elementary school building is a good example of relatively restrained architectural organization freed of outdated conventions. The three-story cubic structure was laid out as a trapezoid, with two wings: the southern one houses the administrative functions and support services - offices, sheltered spaces, and service zones - while the northern wing contains the classrooms. Accordance to the programme, a separate entrance was designed for the auditorium and library, allowing community access after school hours.
