דבר העורך מכתב גלוי לבבא מציעא ------------------------------------ קצת לפני ״השלב השני״ והרבה מדי אחרי השלב הראשון, החלטתי להסתכן במכתב גלוי לשני הבבא מציעס שמכניסים מקלות בגלגלי החברה הישראלית, השסועה והמוכה. את דעותיהם המשיחיות עוד אפשר איכשהו להקיא, אבל זה שהם לא השכילו ללמוד בישיבה (או בעמידה) מהי מצוות פדיון שבויים, ייזכר להם לדיראון עולם, ורבים יוסיפו - גם בעולם הבא.	2
אדריכלי העונה סקורקא אדריכלים ------------------------------------ משרד סקורקא אדריכלים הממוקם בגליל ים, הוקם בשנת 1999 ומונה כיום כ-25 אדריכלים. המשרד עוסק בעיקר בתכנון מבני ציבור - רבים מהם תוצאה של זכייה בתחרויות מוזמנות ופומביות. בין המבנים שהושלמו לאחרונה: משכן האוספים ביד ושם, בניין המשרדים החדש של בנק ישראל, והפקולטה להנדסת חשמל בטכניון. שני השותפים - רועי סקר ועידו זמיר - מאמינים שהאדריכלות מזמנת אפשרות ליצירת יש מאין מתוך דיאלוג אמיתי ובסיסי בין האדם לסביבתו. מבנים המגלמים סינתזה לחיפוש, תגובה ופרשנות אישית בתוך סביבה תרבותית, מקומית וערכית.	6
חומר לעבודה המשמעות האוקסימורונית של קירות מחיצה ------------------------------------ ההבדל המהותי ביותר בין קיר למחיצה הוא במידת היכולת של כל אחד מהם להעביר או לחסום מעבר של מידע בין החללים. בשני המקרים מדובר באמצעי פיזי שנועד להסדיר את היחס בין שני מתחמים או יותר. בעוד שאיכות הקיר נמדדת בעיקר ביכולת ההפרדה שלו -מבחינת האטימות והבידוד התרמי והאקוסטי, איכות המחיצה נמדדת גם ביכולת החיבור שלה, בעיקר מבחינה חזותית, אסתטית וסמלית.	28
