Ayeka - Shared Workspace in Florentine, Tel Aviv

Based on creating the intimate atmosphere of an historic

European city, the design concept was inspired by the rough /

polished context characteristic of the surroundings: the seam

line between a busy area of workshops and a residential

neighborhood that in recent years has become a trendy

entertainment center.

The idea of shared work spaces is based on the

supplementation of personal work spaces supported by

common functions. These are for instance: a spacious entrance

hall overlooking the nearby American Colony; formal and

informal meeting spaces; a photography and recording studio;

and a cafeteria and a lounge.

The individual offices are arranged like a street,

where those adjacent to the envelope enjoy the view of the

American Colony, and those opposite face the patio.
