אדריכלות ישראלית - גיליון 128

David Azrieli School of Architecture אדריכלות ישראלית Architecture of Israel #128 February 2022 | | 70 About two years ago, a competition was announced for the design of the School of Architecture at Tel Aviv University. In accordance with the new Master Plan of the University's Engineering Department, the stated program dictated that "The location of the building on the Lester and Sally Antin Square should express the new openness of the public's approach to the university. It is a 'fence structure' that will form the southern wall of the campus, with a commercial front, and a foyer of two new cinemas opening up the university in the evening to the general public. "Above the ground floor, the building of the Architecture School will populate four floors. As mentioned, the 'fence buildings' are a new type of structure that the university intends to erect in the coming years along the streets surrounding the campus. And, due to security needs, each of the buildings will also include control checkpoints." Forty-three proposals were submitted to the competition, some by top-notch architects. According to the results of the competition announced in August 2020, six bids advanced to the final stage: Tsionov - Vitkon Architects; Meiselz Cassif Architects; Skorka Architects; Kisselov-Kaye Architects; Ranni Ziss Architects in collaboration with Finkelstein Kluger Architecture; and AN+ Avital Gourary Natanel Elfassy Architects. Four of the proposals were considered favorites by the panel of judges, out of which Tsionov - Vitkon Architects was finally chosen. project of the season David Azrieli School of Architecture, Tel Aviv University Rachel Ben Aharon מפת אוניברסיטת תל אביבמימין: כיכר אנטין בתכנון עצמון אדריכלים למטה: .1994 זוכה פרס רוקח לאריכלות Top: Map of Tel Aviv University.
