אדריכלות ישראלית - גיליון 128

2022 פברואר 128 אורחי העונה - סנוהטה נורבגיה אדריכלות ישראלית 55 | | Powerhouse Telemark, Porsgrunn, Norway Situated in the historic industrial city of Porsgrunn in the county of Vestfold and Telemark, the 11-storey office building is a result of a collaboration between Snøhetta, R8 Property, Skanska and Asplan Viak. The design, which deals with the climate mainly passively, ensures the entry of natural light through an atrium that opens onto a sloping roof covered with solar panels, which provide 256,000 kilowatt per year, about ten times the average annual electricity consumption of a Norwegian household. The west, northwest and northeast facades are protected from the low sun by wooden shelves, while the mantle is clad with three-layer insulated glass, enabling gradual warming and cooling of the interior spaces. Flexible interior design makes it possible to easily adapt the offices and common work spaces to the changing needs. Thermal recycled wool boards attached to the walls serve as noise absorbers; the carpet tiles are made of recycled fishing nets, and the floor is covered with parquet made of industrial ash. The building includes dining rooms and meeting spaces on the tenth floor which opens to a roof terrace overlooking the view of the fjord and the city of Porsgrunn (See also next page).
