Though the place seemed an ideal opportunity for an astronomical observatory, the proposed program was a private house. The need to protect the interior from the strong winds dictated the inversion of the structure and curved glazing in order to bring in the sky and amazing view of the surroundings. While the protected living area is an integral part of the outside, the upper level rooms open in a controlled way towards specific landmarks of the landscape.
